Explore our continuing success.
1960sOn April 1, 1966, engineer Klaus Blaurock founded the company ING. KLAUS BLAUROCK based in Brendlorenzen near Bad Neustadt / Saale. The focus was on the production and installation of blinds, especially for retrofitting during renovations of old buildings. | 1970sThe company expanded its product range by aluminium roller shutters which were produced at the headquarter. The sales activities were also being expanded during that time. Due to the high demand of Blaurock products, a new manufacturing and administration building was built in Salz, where uPVC windows are manufactured. A milestone in the company's history is the invention of a window with integrated roller shutters. | 1980sThanks to its innovative and consistent quality policy and focus on customer satisfaction, Blaurock continued to record strong growth rates in the eighties and was continuously expanding its market share. Blaurock is proud to have received numerous national and international awards during this period. | 1990sThe innovative product - the window with integrated roller shutters - maintains its unique position in the market. In 1996, the traditional family owned business was sold to an international investor group. The buyers founded Blaurock GmbH. | 2000sIn 2000, technical production manager Rainer Reichert took over the management of the company as CEO. Blaurock also discovered and stepped into new markets abroad. In October 2001, Blaurock became the first company worldwide to pass the "hurricane test" for uPVC windows with special insulating glazing in Orlando, USA. In 2009, Blaurock presented a new version of the window with integrated roller shutters which is powered by solar energy as the first company worldwide. | 2010sOne of the biggest investments in the company's history was the establishment of a new production line for the high quality windows "made in Germany". The occasion has been the "energeto" profile, which Blaurock now uses for uPVC windows with and without roller shutters. Due to the increasing demand of windows and doors made by Blaurock, the company has opened a showroom, in which window and door products are presented. | PRESENTMathias Reichert, Son of Rainer Reichert works for Blaurock since 2017. At the start, he studied bachelor of marketing and master of business. Since 2020, he is chief executive officer of Blaurock Germany, working together with Rainer Reichert on international operations.
